A curved roof in zinc forms an extended living space to the original house. The original house comprised of small separate rooms which became brighter when opened out into the new extension. Brick was used as an external finish to tie in with the existing house and also in the landscape treatment.

The kitchen was designed to be uncluttered with a long low level counter along the side wall creating a generous feel to the space.
