CONSERVATION SERVICES
We are architects accredited in Grade 3 conservation. Our approach in adapting protected structures to present day use, follows the principle of “doing as much as necessary and as little as possible” to preserve the origins quality of the building. The repair and upgrading of the original structure requires appropriate materials and skills. It is important to know what specialist are required and where to find the right expertise. We work with high quality craftsmen to restore the special architectural features of your protected structure. INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICES
We provide a tailored interior design service for both residential and commercial clients. Our service includes detailed drawings and 3d visualisation for bespoke joinery and furniture. Not only do we create mood boards to show the proposed colours, textures and finishes but we also obtain estimates for the work. Also, we have a working relationship with expert craftsmen, trusted suppliers and contractors to deliver the project. Finally, we inspect the work to ensure it is carried out in line with the designs and regulations. LOW ENERGY DESIGN
& BER ASSESSMENT
We design to meet the best standards with regard to energy efficiency and comfort in use. Our service includes:
- Detailed energy and cost/benefit analysis of different energy saving measures.
- Incorporating renewable technologies such as solar panels where appropriate.
- Specific analysis of the building fabric so that heat loss is minimised.
- Regular site inspections to ensure that work complies with the specifications.
- Technical analysis to ensure compliance with building regulations.
We are Certified Passive House designers and are happy to assist clients looking to achieve this standard in their projects. We are also registered to act as Building Energy Rating (BER) Assessors and can provide BER certificates with a complementary low energy design reports.
