The existing small demi detached house was extended to the side and to the rear with a single wide extension space.

The generous rear living space was formed by making a structural opening the full width of the plot allowing the combination of the extension and the rear of the existing house.

Finishes included a polished concrete floor which acts as a heat sink. Soaking in the southerly heat gain during the day and keeping the space warm and comfortable.
