Complete Refurbishment and Extension to a period house in Dalkey. The project was phased so that the renovations to the existing house were done in advance of the extension to the rear.

The concept for the kitchen and extension living space was to extend to the side of the existing two storey return and create a shaft of light at the junction that leads back up to the main house. The difference in levels created a complex but playful stair layout with openings formed so glimpses and views of each space were created from the common circulation spaces.

Finishes include a polished concrete floor and Corian to the kitchen counters.
