CPR Architects, Dublin, provide a wide range of services in architecture and interior design. For many of our clients extending their home may be their first experience in working with an architect. For other clients working in business, building projects are time consuming and complex. As registered Architects both in Ireland and the UK, CPR Architects have the expertise, vision and experience to guide you through the building process. The practice has experience in both public and private projects. Our work ranges from designing and extending homes to retail and office design. As architects accredited by the RIAI to work on Grade 3 listed buildings, we are qualified to work on the restoration, conservation and adaptation of protected structures.
As RIAI Registered Architects we have the skills and training to see a project from feasibility and design stage through planning, regulation and contract administration. Here we describe how the process of working with CPR Architects will add value to your project.
Our process starts with assessing our client’s needs, collaborating on a brief that responds to the project requirements and setting a viable budget. Then we advise on outline building costs, agree a fee and provide guidance regarding the planning and regulatory process.
During the design phase we create an initial concept showing how we propose to transform and reimagine the existing or new space. We develop the concept and prepare detailed design drawings for tender. In addition, we may provide detailed drawings for bespoke kitchen and bathroom cabinets.
Once you select contractor we will manage and administer the building contract. Also, we coordinate the involvement of specialist consultants such a structural engineers or quantity surveyors. Finally, we provide complete project management and cost control of each project through all stages.
We hope these articles will inform you around some of the design issues you may encounter on embarking on your next building project.
