Remodelling and refurbishment of the existing house and the opening up of the rear with an extension containing an open plan kitchen/dining living area and utility room. The layout of the upper levels was changed to form an en-suite bathroom and a further bedroom and bathroom were created at attic level.
Light is brought into the depth of the space with a rooflight along the length of the junction between old and new. A library vestibule with a circular rooflight formed the transition between the existing reception room and the new living space.
Kitchen and other bespoke joinery and storage units were designed and fabricated to suit the client’s needs and maximise available storage space.
